[MAPEI] PLANICRETE SP 25kg

Planicrete SP is a synthetic rubber latex that you mix with Portland cement and sand to make high-strength mortars, screeds and renders. It greatly improves bond strength, and the cured mortar resists impact, vibration, water absorption, freeze-thaw cycles and temperature changes.

It’s a go-to additive for tilers and renderers who need a site-mixed mortar to bond strongly to existing concrete or screeds, or to perform when applied in thin layers.

Ideal for

• Bonding slurry for laying new screeds over existing concrete or screeds
• High-strength floor screeds and levelling coats, inside and out
• Cement renders and spatter-dash coats on walls
• Site-mixed cement tile adhesive for walls and floors
• Upgrading cement mortars applied in thin layers

Please note

• Planicrete SP is not a waterproofing membrane. Use a dedicated membrane where waterproofing is required.
• Always mix it with Portland cement. Do not use it neat as a slurry.
• It’s not suitable for tiling onto substrates subject to heavy flexing, such as timber or particleboard.
• Do not mix it with hydrated or hydraulic lime.
